In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top communication apps in the Czech Republic showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Telegram saw a remarkable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $20.2K in late December. The app maintained a steady download rate, with numbers hovering around 8.5K throughout the quarter. Active users remained strong, consistently nearing the 1M mark, with a peak of over 1M in mid-December.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $8.3K in early December. Downloads were stable, with a notable increase to 7.8K in the week before Christmas. Active users showed a slight increase, consistently over 500K, with a peak of 563K in early December.

Snapchat had a strong performance, with weekly revenue peaking at $9.5K in late December. Downloads surged to 13K just before Christmas, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with about 793K.

Avast SecureLine VPN & Privacy showed modest revenue growth, with a peak of $1.7K in late December. Downloads were generally stable, with a noticeable rise to 1.9K in late December. Active users remained relatively constant, with a slight increase to 5.5K in the same period.

Skype experienced a decline in revenue, dropping to $0.6K by quarter's end. Downloads spiked to 2.6K in the week before Christmas, while active users saw a decrease, ending the year just above 70K.
